Monstera Bulbasaur Premium Variegated - Tissue Culture

$55.00Price
Quantity

An elite, highly sought-after collector’s Monstera cultivar famed for its distinctive camouflage-style mosaic variegation.

Commonly nicknamed the Bulbasaur Monstera, it showcases intricate blended marbling of deep emerald, mint sage green and soft creamy-white clouded patches. Unlike Thai Constellation’s fine star speckles or Albo’s bold solid white sectors, Bulbasaur carries organic, broken mottled patterning that shifts uniquely across every single leaf.

Juvenile foliage begins as full heart shapes; once established and given climbing support, mature leaves will develop dramatic deep fenestrations, expanding the canvas for its spectacular mixed-tone variegation. Selected premium stock displays balanced colour distribution, with minimal full-green reversion risk compared to many rare variegated Monsteras. A standout choice for collectors seeking something distinct from mainstream variegated Monstera varieties.

Care Requirements

☀️ Light: Bright filtered indirect light only. Direct sunlight will scorch pale variegated leaf tissue. Consistent gentle illumination encourages balanced patterning on new growth.

💧 Water: Allow the top 2–3cm of chunky, airy aroid substrate to dry between watering. Use extremely free-draining bark-heavy mix; never allow roots to sit in standing water to avoid rot. Reduce watering frequency during New Zealand’s cool winter months.

💨 Humidity: Thrives with 60%+ humidity. Stable elevated air moisture prevents leaf tip browning and supports clean, full unfurling of new leaves.

🌡️ Temperature: Maintain steady warm temperatures between 18–28°C. Protect strictly from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C.

Important Buyer Information
